Our arrival at Wiggins, MS was delayed for a short

time as we struggled to remove the remnants of our

vehicle's right rear tire.  The tire, almost new,

literally blew apart on its sides.  With the amount

of trash being hauled out of the hurricane disaster

zone tire damage is not an uncommon occurrence.

The steel belt remained intact and once the wheel

was removed it required a good amount of effort to

dislodge the belt from around the axle of the RV.
